Liel Sterling

Liel Sterling is a junior in the College of Industrial and Labor Relations. Apart from serving as the Executive Vice President of Kappa Alpha Pi, Liel is the Co-President and Founder of the Cornell American Civil Liberties Union, the Women’s Caucus Chair of the College Democrats of New York, a Meinig Family Cornell National Scholar, and the former Senior Policy Chairman of the Roosevelt Institute. Liel loves her home-state of NJ and has interned for three NJ Politicians including NJ State Senate Majority Leader Loretta Weinberg, US Congressman Bill Pascrell Jr., and US Senator Cory A. Booker. This past summer, Liel crossed into the State of New York to work for the NYC Department of Social Services in their Office of Legal Affairs, Department of Policy. Contact her at ls798@cornell.edu.
